A new website for Therasteps Care, which provides residential homes for children and young people, including specialist support for children with autism, alongside therapy, education and safeguarding services. The site needed to feel warm and reassuring while giving professionals the clear information they look for.

Therasteps Care brings safeguarding, therapy and education together in a holistic approach to residential care. They needed a website that explained that approach clearly, introduced their homes and services, and supported recruitment as the organisation grows.
The challenge was speaking to several audiences at once. Placing professionals need clarity and confidence, potential staff need to see a place they’d want to work, and the tone had to be compassionate without losing professionalism.
We started with what each visitor needs to know first, and in what order. That shaped two decisions.
Lead with the approach, then the detail.
The homepage moves from the care philosophy into safeguarding, therapy, education and the homes themselves, so the full picture builds in a natural sequence.
Give each service its own page.
Education, Safeguarding and Therapy each have a dedicated page, with Careers and Contact always one click away, so every audience finds its route quickly.
Visual direction.
Sofia Sans headings with Public Sans body text, a deep indigo and navy palette softened with warm peach accents, and calm, open layouts that feel safe rather than clinical.
