My Local Exchange

Website Design For A Money Transfer And Currency Exchange In Wolverhampton

A new website for My Local Exchange on Wednesfield High Street, offering international money transfers as a Western Union agent, travel money, eSIMs and courier services. The site needed to make four different services easy to find and show why it’s worth popping in.

The brief

My Local Exchange is a one stop shop: send money abroad, buy travel currency, pick up an eSIM or send a parcel, all in one place. They needed a website that brought those services together without confusing anyone, and that would be found by people searching locally.

The challenge was variety with clarity. Each service has its own customer and its own search terms, so the site had to give every service a clear home while keeping the business feeling like one trusted local shop.

Our approach

We designed around how local customers search: by the service they need, the currency they want or the country they’re sending to. That shaped two decisions.

Give every service its own page.
Money transfer, travel money, eSIMs and courier services each have a dedicated page, with the partner brands (Western Union, DHL, UPS and others) shown up front for instant trust.

Build for local search.
Pages for popular currencies, popular destinations and the surrounding areas (Wolverhampton, Wednesfield, Willenhall and Bilston) help the business show up for the specific searches its customers actually make.

Visual direction.
Poppins headings with Manrope body text, a deep navy palette with bright yellow calls to action, and a full width video hero that gives a small high street business a big first impression.
