Work With Us

Straight answers to the questions we get asked most

Cost, payment, timescales, contracts and who owns what. If your question isn’t here, ask us. We’d rather answer it properly than leave you guessing.

Getting started

How do I get started with Seven Branded?

Click Start a Project and tell us a little about your business and what you need. We’ll come back to you with honest advice on what’s worth doing first and, if it makes sense, arrange a discovery call to talk it through.

Yes. The discovery call is free and there’s no obligation. It’s a chance for us to understand your business and for you to decide whether we’re the right fit.
We’re based in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton, and work with businesses across Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Dudley, Telford, Birmingham and Stafford. We also work with clients elsewhere in the UK and abroad, with calls and video meetings where meeting in person isn’t practical.
Mostly small and medium sized businesses, run by owners or small leadership teams, who want marketing that’s planned properly rather than bought piece by piece. We’re a good fit if you value honest advice and clear strategy over the cheapest price.
You’ll work with the people doing the work, not an account manager passing messages along. That keeps communication clear and decisions quick.

Pricing & payment

How much does a website cost?

Our starter websites, up to 10 pages, start from £975. Larger and bespoke websites are priced by scope, because a five page brochure site and an eCommerce store with hundreds of products are very different projects. You’ll get a fixed quote before any work starts. More detail on our website design page.

We invoice in three stages: a 50% deposit before work starts, 25% when the design is approved and development begins, and the final 25% on completion, before your site goes live. Invoices are due within 7 days.

SEO, social media, paid advertising management and website care plans are invoiced monthly in advance.

No. We’re not currently VAT registered, so there’s no VAT on our invoices.
Website and project work is already spread across three stages. Beyond that, we don’t offer separate instalment or finance plans.
Sometimes. Third-party costs such as premium plugins, stock images, printing, postage and advertising spend are charged separately unless your quote includes them. We’ll always agree these with you before buying anything.
30 days from the date we send it.

Process & Timescales

How long does a website take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly content and feedback come back to us. You’ll get an estimated timeline with your quote, and we’ll agree dates once the deposit is paid. The biggest cause of delay on most projects is waiting for content, so having yours ready makes a real difference.
One main point of contact who can make decisions, plus the content, images, logins and approvals we ask for, by the dates we agree. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed and when at the start.
Each stage includes the number of revision rounds set out in your quote. We’d rather get the direction right early through a proper brief than burn through endless rounds of changes later.
We hold time in our schedule for your project, so if we’re waiting on something from you, timescales move by at least the length of the delay. If we hear nothing for 30 days, we’ll pause the project. We’ll always talk to you before it gets to that point.

We can. Our content creation service covers website copy, service pages and blogs. If you’d rather write it yourself, we’ll tell you exactly what each page needs.

Ownership & Contracts

Who owns my website once it's finished?
You do. Once you’ve paid in full, the final designs, logos and website content we’ve created for you are yours. Some parts, like WordPress, plugins, fonts and stock images, are licensed rather than owned, and we’ll tell you if anything needs renewing.
You do. Wherever possible, we register domains in your name, so you’re never locked to us.

No long lock-ins. SEO and social media retainers have a 4 month minimum term, because both need time to work, then run month to month with 30 days’ notice. Care plans run monthly and can also be cancelled with 30 days’ notice.

Yes. If your account is paid up, we’ll give you your website files and database and reasonable help moving them. Your site is never held hostage.
We may add a small “website by Seven Branded” credit in your footer. If you’d rather not have it, just ask and we’ll remove it free of charge.
We may feature finished work in our portfolio and case studies. If you’d prefer we didn’t, tell us and we won’t.
